What you will need:

  • 1 can of garbanzo/chick peas
  • 2 or 3 cloves of peeled and chopped garlic (depending on how strong you’d like your hummus)
  • 1/2 green chili
  • Olive oil
  • Tahina sauce
  • Lemon Juice
  • Wheat or white pita bread
  • Salt

How you make it:

  1. First get a blender and pour about 2 tablespoons of olive oil in there
  2. Then drain out the can of garbanzo beans of all the preservatives and water
  3. Put the garbanzo beans in the blender
  4. Add a tablespoon or a bit more if you’d like of Tahina sauce
  5. Put the chopped garlic and 1/2 green chili in as well
  6. Add a teaspoon of salt, or a pinch–as needed
  7. Squeeze in half a lemon or put some lemon juice in there
  8. Start liquefying the mixture in the blender
  9. Add water as needed to get the right consistency
