Egg Porutu/ Egg Burji/ Scrambled Egg Curry

What you need:

  • 3 Onions- thinly sliced
  • 2 tomatoes- cut into 16 pieces each
  • 5 eggs
  • Turmeric
  • Salt
  • Red Chili Pepper
  • Jeera
  • Oil
  • Urad Dal
  • Dry red chili

How you make it:

  1. On a pan, pour enough oil to cover the surface.
  2. Add jeera, urad dal, dry red chili, curry leaves to the oil and sautee
  3. Add onions and sautee until they turn transparent or light brown
  4. Add a teaspoon of red chili pepper
  5. Add half a teaspoon of salt
  6. Add the tomatoes
  7. Sautee until the tomatoes look wilted
  8. Break 5 eggs and add them into the pan
  9. Scramble the eggs and mix evenly

This goes fast! I made it for 3 and it was done in one meal and we wanted moreSo make it with more eggs!
